sWe are using our Energyometers to feel our energy level each day and change it to the right level if we need to.
We were exploring ways to change our energy to feel calm. If it is too high, we can let some energy out by using slide breathing, jumping jacks or running on the spot, rest, drink water, eat healthy food, dance or sing.
Can you think of other things at home? Remember it is important to name your feeling to tame it.

Lesson 6 - We can Do Hard Things
When did you have to do something hard that you really didn’t want to do? Maybe when you were learning something new for the first time, like something new in maths? Or maybe when you learned to swim? Or maybe you had to move house or go to a new school? Or maybe just something that felt scary, like going on a message to another class? What helped you to do it? Don’t forget to ask for help if you need it.
Sometimes we have to keep trying and trying when something is hard and we might not get it right the first time and that’s OK. There is a word for when we keep trying and don’t give up, it’s called ‘perseverance’. We all need lots of perseverance in life.
Mo and Ko want to remind you that you can be strong and remember how brave you are when you have to do hard things. You can stand strong like a mountain to help you feel brave. Maybe you heard it before, or maybe not. If you need to feel brave, you can help yourself to feel strong and brave by standing strong like a mountain. This is called Mountain pose.
Try it!
Stand up straight, like in the picture. Keep your back straight and put your hands by your sides with your palms open. Spread your feet out a little. Now imagine that you are just like a mountain – strong, calm, powerful and brave. You can say to yourself ‘I’m strong like a
mountain. I can do hard things. I can be brave.’
When we do hard things, we will probably make lots of mistakes along the way. But that’s OK, because mistakes are part of learning.
Dance and sing along to Try Everything with Shakira and Gazelle from Zootopia to remind you that you can do hard things, even if you fail along the way.

Lesson 7 - We are Good Enough
Remember we need to treat ourselves gently and kindly, especially when we make a mistake or do something that we feel bad about.
We can’t always feel and be amazing, that we all do things that we shouldn’t do and that we are still good enough, no matter what. They learn We remember the Hand to heart strategy - put your hand to their heart and remind yourself that you are good enough,
whenever they you need to.
Remember all of the good parts of yourself (your best self).

Lesson 8 - We Care and Share
Children are reminded of all the ways that we can care for each other and how it feels when others show that we care. They discuss times that they shared and cared and are reminded that thinking about how their friends feel is a good way to show they care. They are encouraged to Sprinkle kindness and to show they care as much as possible.
In this video, we see how caring and sharing can make other people feel.
How did they care and share? How did they feel?

Lesson 9 - We Can Solve Our Problems
Children explore the concept that we all have problems from time to time. They discuss some problems they may have faced, as well as how they might feel inside when they have a problem. They are then given a 4-step process that they can use when faced with a problem – Think, talk, plan, act.
In this video the smaller birds had a problem. The big bird wanted to join them on the wire but he was too heavy. They felt frustrated and a little bit angry. What could they have done instead. Could you help them to follow Mo and Ko's 4 steps. How could they think first? Who could they talk to? What plan could they have made? What would you have done differently to the small birds?
