We had a wonderful morning on Wednesday when Connor's parents John and Donna came in with their pet ferrets. We learned so much about these intersting creatures. Some of us now want a pet ferret! Thank you so much for your visit.
We had a lovely treat on Wednesday when Barry the Gaelic coach took 2nd class for some Gaelic skills. Barry will be here for the next 7 Wednesdays. We are looking forward to learning lots of skills. Thanks Barry.
For our literacy on Monday April 1st, we read an information text about the Lirpaloof Bird. We were all facinated by this bird and it's features so we headed outside to see could see spot it as it migrates to Ireland during the early days of April. The Lirpaloof likes seeds and insects but it also eats something different - carrots! This gives it it's bright orange appearance. It is said that the Lirpaloof likes to stay in high trees and to call the bird it is recommended to sing to it rather than shout. So that's what we did. Have a look........
